  Increase Your Web Site Traffic:

 A Warning

Part 7 of an 8 part guide to driving traffic to your web site

If you use these techniques to increase your traffic, I would be remiss if I didn't offer just a short warning.  I kind of got caught off guard on this one.  When I started using TrafficZap, it took a couple of months, but I ended up driving so much traffic to my site that it ended up costing me a small fortune with my web hosting company.

Most hosting companies will charge you for extra bandwidth usage.  I got so excited about the additional traffic that I wasn't paying attention to my sites bandwidth usage.  I had to pay quite an extra bit that month.

Of course I immediately upgraded my service so I don't have to worry about it any more.  Just be aware that you may run into the same issue with your hosting provider.

If your web hosting company charges you an arm and a leg for your traffic, I suggest switching to another company.  I highly recommend www.HostingWithUs.com.
